"The same stream of life that flows through my veins day and night, flows through the world and dances in rhythmic measure, is the same life that is joyfully rocked in the ocean cradle of death and birth, like ebb and flow."

Rabindranath Tagore

Life moves rhythmically. The human body contains more than a hundred different rhythms. Every organ has its own rhythm. One very subtle rhythm is the craniosacral rhythm. The brain and spinal cord are enveloped by thin membranes (dura) through which the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) moves.
It is a semi-closed hydraulic system from whose filling and emptying movement the cranial rhythm arises and propagates throughout the body via the all-connecting fascial network.

Craniosacral therapy focuses on this subtle wave-like movement, exploring (diagnosing) where and how this wave can unfold and providing support where restrictions and imbalances are perceived. It is a manual, energetic, and verbal technique applicable both for preventative healthcare and as a therapeutic measure.

Breath of life is the deep-seated, ordering life force that manifests through subtle rhythmic movements and fluid flows in the body. The therapist listens and guides, creating a still, neutral space where self-regulation and self-healing can occur.
